Conditions of Entry

All fencers and spectators participate at their own risk, and are personally responsible for their own safety. Spectators are admitted to the venue, and entries accepted, on the understanding that the British Fencing Association, the Essex County Fencing Union, the organising committee, the officials, the referees and the staff of the venue of the competition cannot accept responsibility for accidents, loss or damage to persons or property, however caused.

All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the competition.

The competition can only run if we are able to use the electric scoring equipment supplied by entering clubs. It is a condition of entry that every club entering brings at least one complete set of spools, box and ground leads. Please help things to run more smoothly by bringing as many as possible.

If insufficient entries are received by the closing date to make the competition financially viable the event will be cancelled. Entrants will be informed by the email address provided in their entry form and their entry fee refunded. An announcement will also be made on the County website.
