Newham Fencing Club v Cyrano

The Essex Team Foil and Epee Championships were held at Anglia Ruskin University's Mildmay Sports Hall in Chelmsford on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December.

Saturday saw the foil event with 5 teams competing to be crowned Essex Team Champions 2008. The clear front runners after the pools were the Cyrano and Newham Fencing Club teams with 4 and 3 wins respectively. Both teams duly met in the final and after a very exciting fight Cyrano won 45-24.
