The following changes have been made to the Essex Youth Championships which are due to be held on Sunday 7th June at the Mildmay Sports Centre in Chelmsford.
Check in times Check in times have changed for the Under 14 and 16 competitions.
Any fencer in checking in at 11:00 and wishing to gain refereeing experience is welcome to help referee the under 10 and 12 competitions in the pool stages. Please click here to contact the organisers with your details.
Equipment The Essex County Fencing Union recommends that all fencers wear 350N or 800N breaches. Fencers competing in the under 10, under 12 or under 14 events, breeches may be replaced by strong full-length trousers or tracksuit trousers, provided all openings and pockets are zipped, sewn or taped closed. The trousers must cover the whole leg, shorts are not permitted. Fencers competing in the under 16 event must wear 350N breaches as a minimum.
